Morgan - Insulated Dry Freight Van Bodies:
Standard Features
| Body Lengths: 14' - 24' Body Heights: 85", 91", 97" Body Width: 96" Subframe: 4" I-beam long rails, 3" I-beam cross-members on 12" centers, galvannealed steel front end plate. Floor Type: 1-1/8" laminated hardwood, with galvanized steel threshold, rear drain trough, drain holes and seals. 2-9/16" polystrene bock foam (R-value - 4.0/in) between crossmembers with glassboard liner beneath. (If specifying a refrigeration unit, an aluminum or varnished wood floor and liner are recommended due to potential for moisture damage.) Side Walls: Sheet & Post - .040" aluminum sheet fastened to 1-3/8" steel Z posts on 16" centers, uniform quality rivet installation. 1-5/16" polystyrene block foam inside walls, protected by 5.2 mm lauan plywood liner. |
Front-end Assembly: Sheet & Post - .040" aluminum wall with 1-5/16" block foam insulation protected by lauan plywood liner. Fiberglass insulation in top radii and rear frame. Rear Frame: Header design with rain channel/drip rail permits 1" narrower header and better protection for clearance lights. Extended truck chassis L-channel and Morgan steel-channel U-bolt attachment plates for improved body support. High, wide door opening, with curb-side grab handle. Roof Assembly: Aluminum sheet with Morgan's anti-snag bows for improved adhesive seal at all contact points. 1-5/16" polystyrene block foam in ceiling protected by lauan plywood liner. One dome light recessed into ceiling with switch cab.
